Following a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Northeast Race Management, LLC announced earlier this year that the East End Trail Races 50K, 30K and 10K would return in 2022. The race was scheduled to take place on Sunday, Aug. 7, at Borderland State Park in North Easton, Mass.

On Sunday night, July 24, race organizers announced on Facebook that the third running of the event will not happen.

“We regret to have to cancel this year’s 2022 East End Trail Races,” organizers wrote on the event page. “For all registered participants, please check your email for a note from us.”

A reason for the cancellation was not given.
