When Jenny Cavanagh created the Spring Fever Trail Races, the owner of TA Fitness in Weymouth, Mass., sought to share her passion for trail-running with members of her gym and other runners in the region. Runners embraced her invitation with 84 taking on any of the various options during the inaugural year.

The second annual Spring Fever 8-Hour Ultra, 5-mile and 5K trail races took place on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Wompatuck State Park in Hingham, Mass.
