One of New England’s original ultramarathons, the Trail Animals Running Club’s ‘Don’t Run Boston’ Ultras, has been canceled due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.

The 24th running of the classic event, which features 50K and 50-mile distances, was slated to take place on Sunday, April 19, at the Blue Hills Reservation in Milton, Mass., but an announcement on the event website broke the news this week, stating, “This event has been cancelled to protect public health during this time of Corona Virus.”

‘Don’t Run Boston’ is the fourth TARC race to be canceled this year due to COVID-19. The others are the To Hale and Back 6-Hour Ultra, the TARC Spring Classic, and Wapack and Back.
