Brothers Bill Tidd, left, and John Tidd, right, were the final two runners standing at the Race for DFL. After 27 hours and 112.5 miles of running, the brothers opted to end together, sharing the status as the final runners to complete a loop and final runners to DNF as no single individual runner completed the most laps.
